Dr. Lopez received her Bachelor’s of Science degree at the University of Texas Pan American graduating with honors and with a double minor in Chemistry and Medical Spanish. She received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of the Incarnate Word where she graduated Cum Laude. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and the Rio Grande Valley Optometric Society. Dr. Lopez has held numerous leadership positions and has had research experience. She has presented scientific posters and papers at professional conventions.
